Punctuation
Punctuation English grammar ka important hissa hai kyunki yeh sentence ka meaning clear banata hai aur pauses aur emotions dikhata hai. Har punctuation mark ka apna ek purpose hota hai. Yahaan hum basic aur intermediate punctuation ko detail mein discuss karenge:

Basic Punctuation
1. Period (.)
Period sentence ke end mein use hota hai jab hum koi statement complete kar rahe hain.
Example:
- She is going to school.
2. Comma (,)
Comma chhote pauses dikhata hai, aur items ko list mein alag karne ke liye use hota hai.
Example:
- I bought apples, bananas, and oranges.
3. Question Mark (?)
Yeh questions ya sawal ke end mein aata hai.
Example:
- What is your name?
4. Exclamation Point (!)
Yeh strong emotions ya surprise dikhata hai.
Example:
- Wow! That's amazing!
Intermediate Punctuation
1. Apostrophe (')
Yeh possession aur contractions ke liye use hota hai.
Possession:
- Sara's book is on the table.
- Sara ki kitaab table par hai.
Contraction (short form):
- Don't go there.
- Wahan mat jao.
2. Colon (:)
Yeh kisi list ko introduce karne ke liye ya important information batane ke liye use hota hai.
Example:
- You need to bring: pens, books, and paper.
- Tumhe laana zaruri he: pens, books, and paper.
3. Semicolon (;)
Semicolon do independent sentences ko jodne mein madad karta hai jab unka meaning closely related ho.
Example:
- I wanted to go for a walk; however, it started raining.
- I walk ke liye jana chahta tha; lekin tabhi barish shuru ho gayi.
4. Quotation Marks (“ ”)
Quotation marks kisi ke exact words ya dialogues ko show karne ke liye use hote hain.
Example:
- She said, “I’ll be there soon.”
- Usne kaha, "mein jaldi wahan par rahun"
Titles: Books, articles, aur movies ke titles ko highlight karne ke liye bhi use ho sakta hai, jaise “The Great Gatsby.”
