1. Coordinating Conjunctions

Coordinating conjunctions simple aur commonly used conjunctions hain jo do ya zyada sentences ya phrases ko jodte hain. English mein yeh commonly "FANBOYS" ke naam se jane jaate hain, jo inke initials ko yaad rakhne mein help karta hai:

For: Reason batata hai (kyunki).

Example: 

• I am eating now, for I was very hungry.
• Main abhi kha raha hoon, kyunki mujhe bahut bhook lagi thi.

And: Do similar ideas ko jodne ke liye.

Example: 

• She likes to read, and she loves to write.
• Usko padhna pasand hai aur likhna bhi.

Nor: Negative ideas ya choices ko connect karta hai.

Example: 

• He doesn’t eat meat, nor does he eat dairy.

Although: Contrasting ya opposing idea show karta hai.

Example: 

• Although she was sick, she went to work.
• Woh bimar thi, phir bhi kaam par gayi.

Because: Reason ya cause show karta hai.

Example: 

• He left early because he had an appointment.
• Woh jaldi chala gaya kyunki uski appointment thi.

Since: Cause ya time dikhane ke liye, generally past se connected.

Example: 

• Since it’s raining, we should stay inside.
• Baarish ho rahi hai, toh humein andar rehna chahiye.

Unless: Condition set karta hai jo opposite outcome deta hai.

Example: 

• You won’t succeed unless you try hard.
• Tum tab tak successful nahi hoge jab tak tum hard work nahi karoge.

If: Condition batata hai.

Example: 

• If you call me, I will answer.
• Agar tum mujhe call karoge, toh main jawab dunga.

While: Concurrent ya same-time actions show karne ke liye.

Example: 

• She was cooking while he was cleaning.
• Woh cooking kar rahi thi jab woh cleaning kar raha tha.

3. Transitional Words aur Phrases

Transitional words aur phrases advanced connectors hain jo ideas ke beech smooth transition aur relation dikhate hain. Yeh phrases kaafi formal aur academic writing mein bhi use hote hain.

Moreover: Additional information dene ke liye.

Example: 

• He’s a talented singer. Moreover, he plays the guitar well.
• Woh talented singer hai. Aur uske alawa, woh guitar bhi accha bajata hai.

Therefore: Reason aur consequence ya logical result show karne ke liye.

Example: 

• She studied hard; therefore, she passed the exam.
• Usne hard study ki, isliye usne exam pass kiya.

However: Contrast dikhane ke liye, generally between two statements.

Example: 

• It was a sunny day; however, it was very cold.

Meanwhile: Concurrent ya same time mein alag-alag actions dikhane ke liye.

Example: 

• She was preparing lunch. Meanwhile, he set the table.
• Woh lunch prepare kar rahi thi. Isi dauraan, usne table set kiya.

Consequently: Kisi action ya situation ke result dikhane ke liye.

Example: 

• The company grew rapidly; consequently, they hired more staff.
• Company rapidly grow hui; iske nateeje mein, unhone aur staff hire kiya.
