Comparative aur Superlative Forms: Usage aur Structure
Comparative Adjectives aur Adverbs comparison ke liye use hote hain jab hum do cheezen ya logon ko compare karte hain. Comparative form mein adjective/adverb ke end mein usually "-er" lagate hain ya uske aage "more" lagate hain.
Examples:
- He is taller than his brother.
- woh apne bhai se lamba hai.
- This book is more interesting than that one.
- yeh book doosri book se zyada interesting hai.
Superlative Adjectives aur Adverbs ka use tab hota hai jab hum ek cheez ko group mein sabse behtar dikhate hain. Superlative form mein adjective/adverb ke end mein "-est" lagate hain ya uske aage "most" lagate hain.
Examples:
- She is the tallest girl in the class.
- Woh class mein sabse lambi ladki hai.
- This is the most difficult test I have ever taken.
- Yeh test sabse mushkil hai jo usne kabhi liya hai.

Short Adjectives (1 syllable) ke saath: "-er" aur "-est" lagate hain.

Types of Adverbs aur Unka Position:
Adverbs of Manner (kaise): Verb ke baad aate hain ya verb phrase ke end mein.
Example:

Adverbs of Time (kab): Sentence ke shuru mein ya end mein hote hain.
Example:
- I will see you tomorrow.
- Mein kal tumse milunga.

Adverbs of Place (kahaan): Verb ke baad ya sentence ke end mein hote hain.
Example:

Adverbs of Frequency (kitni baar): Main verb se pehle ya beech mein aate hain (agar "be - is, am, are, was, were, will be, shall be" verb ho toh uske baad aate hain).
Example:

- We aam tor se time par hote hein.
Special Position Rules for Adverbs:
Kabhi-kabhi emphasis ke liye adverb ko sentence ke beginning mein rakhte hain.
Example:
- Quickly, she finished her work.
- Jaldi se, usne apna kaam pura kar liya.
Kabhi adverb ko verb aur verb phrase ke beech mein rakhte hain, especially jab helping verbs ho.
Example:
- She has never been late.
