Past Simple Tense

Structure: Subject + Verb (2nd form) + Object

Past Simple tense ka istemal ham tab karte hain jab hum ek poori tarah se khatam hua action ya event ko bayan karte hain jo kisi specific samay mein past mein hua tha. Yah tense tab istemal hota hai jab action ka waqt diya gaya ho ya ham uske waqt ko imply karte hain, aur iska present se koi connection nahi hota.

Examples:

  • I went to the market yesterday.
  • Main kal bazaar gaya tha.

  • She watched a movie last week.
  • Usne pichle hafte ek film dekhi thi.

Key Points:

  • They arrived in 2005.
  • Ve 2005 mein aaye the.

Finished Actions: Is tense mein action puri tarah se khatam ho gaya hai aur iska present se koi connection nahi hai.

2. Present Perfect Tense

  • Main us museum mein teen baar ja chuka hoon.
